Our Mission

Briggs & Cole "Art & Design Works" is a new product design/art partnership specialising in unique pieces and limited editions in the field of design. Our highly individual editions of objects and furniture pieces are especially created to give a fresh narrative and cutting edge perspective on contemporary design. With a passionate vision for design excellence down to the last detail, we create honest and long-lasting products which weave unusual material combinations and cultural story - exceeding customer's expectations.

Creative partners Jane Briggs and Christy Cole formed Briggs & Cole in late 2011 and are both graduates of The Glasgow School Of Art. Both live and work in the city of Glasgow, Scotland. The unique business collaboration brings together a comprehensive range of skills and experiences from multidisciplinary Art and Design backgrounds.

Limited Edition Products

Embedded within each product we create, there is an exceptionally unique collage work which involves a high degree of complex layering. Each fragment piece tells a story and is hand crafted as a measure of detail - examples include furniture, lighting, prints and objects d'art. 

Art & Design Consultancy

For something quirky, collectible and exclusive, we offer a coveted and expertise design consultancy service focusing on the creation of high end, 'one of a kind' pieces. Working closely with esteemed designers and manufacturers in the UK, Briggs & Cole are committed to finding new materials and techniques which enhance the integrity and desirability of our products.
